The best sandwich in the world

So, tonight, while watching TiVo, I conjured one of the most delectable combinations of meat, cheese and bread. If interested, the sandwich consists of

-One hoagie Publix roll (white)
-Boar's Head Munster Cheese
-Mayo
-Deli Mustard
-Honey Roasted Turkey
-Honey Seared Ham

-Cape Cod Chips, (on the side, plain chips)

Seriously, this was an explosion of flavors in my mouth. I would suggest this sandwich to any couch food coinsurer.

Pro-Hormones

I've been reading up on some supplement called pro-hormones, and I've been wondering if anyone knew anyone on such supplement. I am very interested specifically in one called P6 Black, it is a mix of different compounds used to create testosterone; while is is only a few molecules from a steriod. I have heard many outstanding results from this supplement, I am just looking for some feedback on anyone on it.

iPhone vs iPhone 3G

Although I have just comepleted a project revolving around the rhetoric used to portray certain technology as a necessity instead of a luxury, I feel that an iPhone will better my life in many ways. Besides the price range of $350 (Old 8gb) and $500 (For new 8gb or 16gb) what are the pros and cons of old vs new? Can anyone who know about the iPhone in depth please give me some feedback on it, as I am going to be purchasing one or the other, I just want to know the best product for my money.

Quick, Easy Jobs?

Sadly I have grown to the point in which I'm spending more and more money every weekend, and I am becoming short on cash. Besides the long-term job with Eric, creating Vk (VegasKong) I need to make som quick cash ranging from$ 50-$100. Does anyone have any good job ideas BESIDES lawn-work...I hate lawn-work. If anyone has a job besides that, have that employer give me a call or reach me through whoever reads this post.

Good Snacking Foods?

I as walk into my house everyday, I sit by the pantry wondering what to munch on for the afternoon. Yet my mind and taste buds cannot decide as they appose each other.

In short, I can't decide what to eat as a snack...

Does anyone have any TRUELY great snacks that are original? I'm kinda sick of the over-eatin' Goldfish and Cape Cod Chips. But keep in mind, I don't want to end up dying of re-re-fried foods; so no beans! I'm looking for that one meal that can satisfy one's gurgling stomach, and ease me out of my tensed state-of-mind. Due to the intensity of school. SO Please! can someone give me a good snack?

Vk

So, recently one of my good friends Eric had an idea of making a clothing company, and it sounded very interesting, so we talked for a while about; and by the end of our discussion, I was hooked. I am now one of the two founders of Vk clothing. (Vegas Kong Klothing) Now, it will be difficult to get it off the ground, but in the long run, I believe that this line of clothing will be successful. Someone once told me, "You can make any business successful, you get what you put in." and I take this to heart in my new found quest of work. My question is to anyone who has parents in designing; do they have any tips for us, or any contacts we can use? I would greatly appreciate it.

New Oreo Cookies!

So as I was wandering down the aisles and I stumbled upon a new form of Oreo. No the typical type of Oreo, this is a thin succulent chocolate thin cookie drizzled with lines of frosting. It is absolutely one of the best cookies I have ever had. I suggest everyone go out and try these, they are called Oreo FudgeRings. I'm sure everyone can afford the $3.00 considering most of us live in WestOn. I would like to see what everyone thinks of these cookies, I might bring them in on Friday.

Chrome Car Parts?

So I'm thinking of getting a few chrome piece accessories for my car. Does anyone know of any retail stores for Honda parts or a good website to buy them? I would greatly appreciate it. Also, does anyone know of any some-what cheap accessories ranging between $50-$100 that make a great addition to any car? I would be very greatful with any info anyone has on this subject.

Thanksgiving

I feel that this post is just a staple for the currently ended weekend. In any case, Thanksgiving was a time of great joy, and I hope that everyone had this experience. I personally went to Jupiter (Not the planet...) to see my cousins who I rarely see. Our family had a great time rejoicing the past year. Like most families, we have traditions such as watching the Thanksgiving day football game on the largest screen we can find, and how all of the cousins play manhunt after dinner. Does anyone else have some traditions and what did everyone else seem to do? Did anyone fly to different state, or even country? I hope everyone had a great weekend.

The Massacre which is becoming Rap

It pains me to see as to how low rappers have gone to produce a platinum hit; they do not even pay attention to the fans that enjoy the actually lyrics, and not the chorus. It was made pain-shakily-obvious to me that this was happening, when I was watching an episode of TRL. They were interviewing LL Cool J about the current state of Hip-Hop/Rap. He said that artists now-a-days are more worried about the young (female) audience rather than the older all around listener. While these so called artists gain the fame of the youth, they lose there most predominate audience of adults. I feel that this lose is just scarring Hip-Hop more and more every year. Why can't someone just state this to them?

Rhetoric Styles in High School

After our discussion in class, I have really been interested on the Rhetoric Triangle. I have recently noticed that we use this "shape" in our everyday lives. Now, we all get into arguments and all have excuses, but where do we decide to come up with them? Do we try to give the audience the "guilt trip" i.e. Pathos or do we give our parents some crazy information i.e. Logos. It is unnoticed because no-one has thought of it this way, or at least I have never seen it this way. Now, it gives me the idea that I can start practicing my Rhetoric styles much earlier on, instead of waiting for the business world. I would suggest the same for you. Just take any argument you find in school, and try to figure out what style is used. I feel that most arguments are Logos (sadly...) simply because they are the easiest to lie about and can be very bias. It is the simple fight of, "You kissed her, and she kissed him, oh-my-god! What are we going to do?" All this argument is is a bunch of facts about the night before. Simple, yes, done correctly, no. Just something to think about.

Razors

Okay, so for all the men in our 2nd period english class, that can grow facial hair, this is for you.

I have been shaving for the past 2 years and recently (about a year ago) I began to develop full facial hair. No, not the little spots around the face, almost a full beard. If you indulge yourself on asking, yes, I have "nicked" myself shaving before, and I have been through many-a-razor.

The most efficient razor brand that I have found will have to be the all-time champion, Gillette. There new technology called Fusion is an amazing razor. With 5 blades and pivots to guide it around the curves of one's face; it creates the perfect blade. Do not bother with the cheap immatations saying phrases such as, "4 blades!" or "NEW!" I would highly recommend this brand of razor to anyone in need of such precision.

Call of Duty, World at War

*C.O.D. (Call of Duty)

Not to mention the superb series of C.O.D. this latest feature has given me many hour of enjoyment. Well, since I have only purchased it today; in fact, more along the lines of two hours of enjoyment. Despite the medocur reviews, I believe C.O.D.5 still deserves a higher rating due the intense graphics and advanced war gamestyle. Call of Duty, World at War takes place in WWII along the battlefields of the Japanese Islands, parts of Russia, and the frontline in Germany. Unlike most other games genred in WWII, C.O.D.5 is mainly focused along the oriental battlefront instead of the European. I have yet to play the online, in which I am very excited to play tommorrow afternoon, but so far the storyline has had many exciting encounters, such as POW breakouts and near-to-death experiences. In an over-all rating, I would give this game, (only 2 hours in) about an 8. It is well worth the expense if you are into the war genre, and I am curious to see others view on the game. Any tips?

Favorite Shows

I love my TiVo simply because of the fact that I can record shows without any effort. From oldies like Family Guy to new favorites like Fringe and Sons of Anarchy. I'm curious to see what everyone else is watching these days. What is the common genre of choice, comedy, action, soap operas? Whats on everyone's TVs.

TiVo

I have concluded that TiVo might possibly be one of the greatest innovations of our era. Not only can it record shows without the hassle of those everyday tapes, but it can also pause, yes...pause, live TV. TiVo lets me watch my shows whenever I please and save them for later. If you do not have a TiVo, I highly suggest buying one immediately! Who can argue over such a beneficial invention? I have no need to mess around with those old-fashioned tape recorders because my TiVo is highly electronic and can manage itself. What can your recorder do?

FOOD!

Photobucket
A lot of us Men overlook the fact that Food is G-d's gift to earth; if I do say so myself. I love to eat as much of Us do also, and I was wondering what foods do you eat? I try to keep to the healthy side, due to my stomach condition, but I eat some naughty things now-and-then. I think my biggest food sin is the holy Chipotle, the mother of all fast food restaurants. Yes, I know it is the norm for Cypress students, yet I can never get sick of the perfectly merging tastes of a beautifully wrapped burrito.

Send in you favorite restaurants and recipes from home, I'm interested to try some out.

Cars, Cars and Expensive Cars

As we all know, this years auto show has just passed, and I believe that cars can and possibly are the manliest thing in existence. Now don't say I'm bias due to the fact that I love cars, but I believe that cars are a great thing for any man to read-up on. This years Miami Auto Show brought to the table many new, futuristic and of course, expensive cars. Here is are a few clips from the show

1-clip
2-clip (Start at 4:40)

If you watched the second clip, you will be seeing the Bugati Veyron, the most expensive production car in the world. With a stock 1001hp this car will smoke anything in its class, well; nothing really is in the same class as it. So if you end up with one of these, you're in good shape.

Facebook

Okay, although Facebook does not exist within the theme of Manlyhood, I have decided to include this article in my blog. As I was commenting on my teacher's blog, I read a very interesting few sentences, "There are so many fantastic technology and web resources out there. I would love to teach my students about many of them but I worry that they will continue to rely on old favorites - MySpace, Facebook, Google and YouTube." Look, I would agree with the Myspace factor involved in this paragraph, but sites such as Facebook and YouTube provides valuable information in a very fast and effective manner. Facebook also creates a networking system that allows many different people from many different places to interact in a fast method. Facebook is a catalyst for the young mind to interact. In respect I disagree with the critics that claim Facebook to be a burden to the youth and an invalid form of information.

College

Yes, I said it, College. For many of us it is a current stress creator, highschool academic guide and a goal setter. College is, from many-a-story, the most exciting time of one's life. This past week I attended a college tour in which I toured four of the main colleges in Florida. (In order of attending) UCF, USF, FSU, UF. Throughout the extent of the tours, I had experienced the many different qualities of each campus along with the pros and cons. Don’t get me wrong, each college has many different aspects, in respect for different people. Personally, FSU (Florida State University) gave me the lively feeling that a college should make you feel; FSU gives off such a radiant feeling. One can only experience this feeling when he/she visits a school and has this vibe. The average GPA is a 3.7-4.1 (Core GPA) and an average of a 1190-1390 SAT score. I would suggest attending one of these tours in the junior year, it should be a must. I had learned so much in the few days in which I attended these schools, information in which is necessary to apply for college.

Obama!

BARACK OBAMA Pictures, Images and Photos
It was no shock for the American people when Barack Obama won the election by a landslide. I, along with a few other classmates watched the entire election on the news. I cannot describe the feelings I was experiencing during the voting processes. Although Obama was almost always in the lead, it was still scary until I saw the results. I am aware that Harrison is a McCain supporter and I am truely sorry you had chosen the weaker of the two canidates. The way this country will be run under the power of Obama is for the greater good. Against all of the speculations of the McCain supporters and followers; Obama will steer this country in the right direction.

A Real pick-up line.

I feel as if it has come to me to share some of the secrets that I have read-up on about girls. In a recent article I read about a complex yet seemingly simple pick-up line.

(No, not a cheesy one-liner, a real pick-up line)

I'm curious to see on how it actually works in the field, I will be trying it sometime soon in the future. This will be a first for me as well, I have never used a pick-up line before, but everything is worth a try.

If I could ever say one bit of advice, "The worst they can say is No"

Goodluck, tell me how it goes.

Fable II

Alright alright, I know it is a shy subject for some of us, but video games are a part of a mans down-time life. The release of the very anticipated game, Fable II can and will provide many hours of enjoyment to the video game inclined. The basis for this RPG (Role Playing Game) is the classis Hero/Villain but there is a twist, it uses the cause and effect system. Throughout the game each decision one makes, effects the world around them. (i.e. If you decide to kill someone and they have a quest, the quest deletes itself, not existing anymore.) The game creates a real-life experience through the use of favor/distaste, evil/good and attractivness/disatisfaction; not including the mythical creatures and . Each action one makes through the game creates a reaction. It gives the sense of controlling power. IGN, a reputable gaming company reviewer gave the game a 8.8 out of 10. In my opinion, I would give it a 9 out of 10.

If anyone has the game currently, I would love some feedback on the game, what do you think is good?

The Nissan GT-R (The American Skyline)

I along with what I would hope to be many others, are car crazed. I know it seems unrealistic for many of us, but the release of one of the greatest and well built cars has come to America. I am talking about the Nissan GT-R. At the shy price of around 75k to 100k it does not come easy to a few, but for this price, you are receiving a car worthy of being called a luxury car. Reaching the speeds of 60mph in 3.2 seconds, it is as fast as a Ferrari 360 Spyder, even faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo. I'm not saying it is cheap, but if your father/mother is looking for a speed demon, I would have them look into this well priced in relation to performance vehicle.

Workin' Out

I, along with my other fellow men, work out at least 3-5 times a week. I am hoping your not looking at that statement with a negative grin. If you are, I suggest that you stop your actions on this computer and hit the gym. If you are new at this, I would suggest to start with the basic Push-Up and crunches. To start off a day, why not try this simple, yet intense body workout.
Not to mention, I have found a FREE, yes FREE downloadable workout technique booklet.
  1. Push-Ups-20x3 (You might not be able to finish, but finish it out strong or until failure)
  2. Crunches-20x3 (I would hope you are able to finish, if not, go to failure)
  3. Leg-Lifts-10x2 (These are difficult, lower the reps if necessary)
  4. Diamond Push-Ups- [As many as possible]x3
  5. Repeat Exercise of Choice x 3

Try doing these in a cycling order, Push-Ups then Crunched, then Leg-Lifts, etc.
Space each exercise at least 30seconds to 1 minute apart and constantly drink water.

Goodluck for the test run, comments are always appreciated.
